After completing compositions 1 & 2 I really feel that composition 4 is going to be a great way for me to create a memoir about something in my life that is important to me and how it has impacted my life. For my memoir I decided to tell the story about one of my major trips in boy scouts and reciving my Eagle Scout award. I was fortunate enough to participate in Philmont High Adventure base out in the mountains of northern New Mexico, this two week backpacking trip was a life changing experience and really helped me learn how to lead others through adverse situations. It was a truly amazing experience to lead a group of about 12 scouts and 2 adults on a 100+ mile trek through the five highest peaks in the park. There were many challanges that we had to overcome as a group which really taught me some important leadership techniques.
