While reading Persepolis and thinking about my topic for my final composition I am running into a few problems on how to use the skills we have learned to get across the point of my memoir. So, I figured I needed some help from all of you who are in the same situation. For composition 1, I was wondering how everyone else was going to use what we have learned on communicating through pictures and our photoshop skills to alter the 6 picture memoirs. What kind of transitions between pictures are you going to use to convey your message? I have the 6 pictures I think I am going to use, but it seems to be too easy to understand with no work done by the audience. My ideal audience is college students like us so I was wondering how you guys are complicating your message to allow a good amount of audience participation. Thanks! -Caitlin

  1. I think you bring up some good points, but i think the audience may not be able to get the your story as easily as you think. Looking at my pictures, I also thought wow this is simple, but I had a few of my friends look at the pictures and they were all able to get different interpretations out of the pictures. At first this worried me because I wanted them to understand my story perfectly, yet this is what audience participation is all about. They all got the just of what I was trying to communicate but all in unique ways.
