Persepolis & Composition 1

Well I didn’t really know what to write about for this week so I’ll just talk about a few things. After reading the first seventy or so pages of Persepolis, I find that it hasn’t captured my attention as much as “Maus” did and I don’t know if it’s the way it’s written or how the story is portrayed or what not. But I am interested by the actual story of what went on in Iran. And on a different not, I also find that composition one is a little trickier than I thought because I am finding that it’s a little more difficult to write a description that is only sixty-six words. I keep wanting to tell more of the story even though my audience will understand it in those sixty-six words. And I think this is partially due to the fact that in high school we were always told to elaborate on our ideas because they wanted to see more detail.
