Composition 1

Creating composition 1 was a very intriguing experience for me because I really enjoyed attempting to write about my life in only six words and six images. For my composition I decided to discuss my life experiences in traveling the world. I have never tried to do anything like this before and found an eyeopening experience trying to use only six words to describe my life. This exercise really taught me how essential word choice is when trying to write a memoir. I actually found the 66 word memoir to be more difficult because it was much more difficult to find 66 meaningful words that describe my life. I found it very difficult to limit my writing once I got into a flow because it is difficult to stop describing your life at only 66 words. The six image memoir was a lot of fun for me because I have lots pictures from my travels and it was really fascinating to go back through my photos and pick the ones that best describe my life.
