Graphic Memoir

Chris and I just recently started on our memoir and it's coming along great so far. The only trouble we might run into is that we still don't know what we want to do for pictures. I was thinking about doing half pictures and half drawings. The memoir is about how Chris brought me and my brother closer together. I thought it would be kinda cool to do drawings for the part before we got closer together as kind of a "sketchy" (as Kate put it) past and then use pictures for the part after we got closer together seeing things more "clearly." What do you guys think?

  1. I think that's a great idea! It's artsy and meaningful. Since you're strapped for pictures it's both practical and symbolic.

  2. I also think that is a great idea. The "sketchy" past using drawings an excellent idea, and I think you have an idea that could turn into a great memoir.

  3. I think it is a good idea, but maybe we should try using paint. If we do it would help out with the color because if we draw it we have only been using pencil. It would liven it up with some color.
